How to reset hikvision DVR password
The first step on the dvr login form is to click 2x in the bottom left corner to display the device serial number.
After that will appear as shown below, then visit the website generate master password that I have provided.
In the top column enter your device serial number dvr then enter the year of the month and date following the settings in your dvr. After that the master password will appear automatically.
Enter the master password into the secure code form under the device serial number on the monitor display as before. When entering the master password note the upper and lower case characters must match the master password that has been generated earlier then click Ok.
After that if successfully reset will appear notice Restoring default password succeesded and you will be automatically redirected to the form Create new password to create a new password dvr you
If you do not manage to reset the password using this method please double check the master password that you have created before if you have properly entered it. Because this method is rare that encounters problems failed to reset.
